THE PRACTICE

All yoga is practiced in one of three fresh, open-air yoga shalas perched on the hillside in the middle of the jungle with panoramic ocean views.

Mornings will consist of a more dynamic yoga practice, awakening and energizing to prepare the body for the day.  Afternoons will focus on calming & restorative practices designed to promote relaxation, release tension, and nourish the body and mind.  Regardless of yoga experience, Stacey emphasizes inclusivity and offers modifications to accommodate all levels of practitioners.  Bringing together 25+ years of study and practice, inclusive of Bikram’s Beginning Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin-Restorative, Iyengar, Meditation and Breathwork, Stacey’s loving support shimmers in her teachings, as she leaves her students feeling free and optimistic, knowing it’s never too late to live a better quality of life. 

A SENSE OF PLACE

Costa Dulce is a premier eco-lodge resort in Nicaragua that combines breathtaking natural beauty, sustainability practices, community building, and personal growth opportunities to create a truly unique and enriching experience.  Located on a beautiful beach nestled on the southern Pacific Coast of Nicaragua.  The river Escameca Grande flows into the ocean just to south end of the beach creating a sacred meeting of waters.

GETTING THERE

Costa Dulce is easily reachable from Managua, Nicaragua (MGA) international airport.

Once you are on the ground, it is just a 2-2.5 hour drive through the beautiful Nicaraguan countryside directly to Costa Dulce. Airport transfers are organized directly through Costa Dulce.

NUTRITION

La Dulce Cocina prioritizes serving healthy and vibrant food sourced from their own farm, with a focus on locally grown ingredients.  Using fresh, seasonal elements means the menu is constantly evolving to reflect the change of seasons.  Great importance is placed on catering to individual dietary needs and will reflect the restrictions or preferences of the guests.

By serving delicious and wholesome food that prioritizes health, sustainability, and community, La Dolce Cocina offers a truly nourishing experience.  You can expect a menu that embraces fresh flavors, seasonality, and the satisfaction of knowing that your meal is not only good for you but also benefits the environment and local communities.

ACCOMMODATION

Rustic luxury best describes the bungalows and cabins. Expect stunning views, balconies with hammocks, comfortable beds, and warm water showers.  Each of the bungalows and cabins has been designed with surrounding trees and plants taken into account and, in some cases, the trees grow through the building!  All have been built to take advantage of the local Papagayo winds to keep you cool without using too much electricity. The eco-lodge greywater is processed and used to water the garden and grow food for guests. Wifi is available throughout the property.

BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY

• To book and secure your spot, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required.

• Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a confirmation email.

• The balance is due in full before August 1.  If you reserve your spot after that date, the full payment is required upon booking.

• Double occupancy rooms must be booked with accompanying guests.  If you are looking to be paired with another solo traveller, please contact me directly at stacey@staceysheayoga.com

CANCELLATION POLICY

• The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Cancellations prior to September 1, 50% of the retreat total will be refunded.

• Cancellations after September 1 are non-refundable.

• In the event you are not able attend the retreat, you are welcome to find a suitable replacement to take your place.

• In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled, you will receive a 100% refund.

• Please consider purchasing “Cancel for ANY Reason” travel insurance.
